Hey guys, I am new to the forum and I have a slight issue maybe someone has dealt with before and can fill me in. I have a scooter with a standard 49cc gy6 engine and stock carb. One day I decided to upgrade from the standard air box to a higher performance air filter. I was having an issue with it not going past 15-20mph until it was very warm and then, once running well, it would randomly revert to the same slow speed as before. I have since plugged the air petcock where it connected to the air box hose and it fixed the issue with it slowing down randomly. Now issue is that it still won't exceed 20-25mph until it is warm, then it runs very well until it sits over night then I have to baby it again until I'm back up to speed.
