Can't hurt to check valve adjustment either

I just check for vacuum leaks and can't find any. Checked valves and they're exactly how they were when I last adjusted them. I did find that I may have a leak at the exhaust flange: I'm pretty sure I have extra gaskets at work so I'll change it out tomorrow. I'm wondering if you might have a preference on what kind of gasket to use. There are the rings: Then this kind: I think I'll order a couple of both but just wondering if there was a preference among the community.

If ur head has a recess where the o ring sits I put a dab of automotive silicone on ring and fit it into recess the silicone holds it in place not to much silicone though if it has has a recess I use both the ring and the flat gasket if there's no recess for o ring I just use the flat gasket if I'm worried about maby the flange isn't straight I try to straighten it best I can and u can use a thin layer of high temp silicone or a smear of muffler putty but don't over due it with the silicone or putty

I got the gaskets in and replaced it. No difference. O2 Sensor doesn't even register anything. I've noticed that even though the temperature is at operating temperature (250-300) the air coming out of the exhaust is cold. Not much heat at all. I'm also noticing very little fuel in the fuel filter...I remember it always being full as it spills out when I take the carburetor off unless I let it drain back a little by holding it up...but also, on that note, I took the carb off and the bowl is full. Checked the float and it's nice a loose. I'm thinking since I'm having this problem at idle, the float probably isn't the cause. I've tried different jets and it's the same, no matter what size I put in there. I'm not sure what to do at this point. Maybe new carburetor? My biggest problem I'm having with this whole thing is it was fine when I got it home. I let it set for 3 days and then this.
Edit: Just tested the fuel petcock and it's fine. Gas flows when I give a little bit of vacuum.
Edit 2: New thought: Should I lap the valves?

I just took it for a test drive and it runs like crap. Throughout the entire throttle position (except idle) it goes up and down in rpms. It does get up to around 315-330F. Not much power at all. Get up to around 40-45mph. I don't really feel like working on this any more. I'm going to store it for the winter then maybe get rid of it. I'm done. I appreciate all the help you've given me. I just can't put any more money into this when it doesn't seem to be helping. I guess scooters are just not my thing.
