Classic vehicles do not have the advanced materials and coatings used in late model US fuel systems intended for use with E10. The ethanol mix fuel system parts increased the cost of vehicles by many $$$. Vehicles made for the UK or EU market may or may not have those advanced materials and coatings that may have only been used in the US market. The UK may be in for a whole heap of hurt due to E10. 10% ethanol was way to much alcohol to mix with fuel. It is about the max for use with common elastomers at room temperature and is way too much at elevated temperatures found under the hood. 5% would have been a much better choice but the water problems would have remained.
