Late night summer rides can be the best. In town you don't have to worry about large critters so much. Cops can be an issue if you ride anything easy to pick on. When you're the only one around, they get bored and start following you. It's fun on a stock scoot. Just start taking turn after turn (narrow alleys are great) till they get lost or tired of it and pull you over to ask where you're headed. Sorta like playing scoot tag, but with potential arrest. lol

There is a shop in West OC called Small Fast Things that does custom Rucks. In fact, that guy's scoot is on there and in a video. I've never been there so I don't know what they have setup or how open to the public it is. I got beside a guy from there on a 150 swapped Ruck at a car show years ago and he was friendly ( vid). www.smallfastthings.com/the-garage |
