Nice work Ghost You have unleashed the Beast pairing a Polini Corsa with a Yasuni R . It will like the the lighter weights .
What rpm are you shifting at when you hit the throttle ?

With 5.5 grams shifting at 7800 and peaking at 10 k . You will really like a notch lighter weights . I found shifting at low 8s to low 9s is where the Yasuni and a sport kit feels spunkiest.
You will find when you get in the right range of weights the top speed will just level off . I just take the Spunkiest by my Butt Dyno one that gives me best Top Speed

Check my Naked Venice build thread. I updated it with the parts list to convert to conventional forks. The fork assembly you posted is for a moped that has upper and lower clamps.

Good quality parts are not so expensive for these little bikes. Seen so many people struggling with problems caused by saving a few bucks over the years.

In my experience with backfires, check the torque on your cylinder head and exhaust flange.
As far as plug cap, once i switched to the NGK rubber booy cap, no more spark plug cap problems.

I'm guessing that filter is most of the problem with the back fire. Running a screen, or what you have now is worse than a pod filter.
