Are there scooter road races anywhere ? I wrote an organizer for some organization(Tommy Thunder), and never got a response. If there are any road races in the Mid West, Id love to try to race again . . . We held some road races earlier in the year, nobody showed up so we canceled the series. Maybe next year we will do a one off event and see how it goes.

Like the track said "Its all about safety". If they feel we are being unsafe they will shut it down. I here ya Jeremy. It will still be a whoot for them, even so. "Only one brake will be required". Is that for everyone Jeremy? RD Yes you must have a good breaking system, how many wheels you have doing the braking is up to you.

Very cool and no problem What do ya say? Ive been thinking about it since i told Paxton he could race. He was happy to hear he can run but at the same time he was kinda disappointed to hear he has no chance at a KOTH trophy (baring a redlight) running 15,s. He is thankful for what he has but brought up a good point IMO. There has to be a way we can give these kids a shot at the big trophy,s! I was thinking if there are enough entries, why not run another King of the Hill? Say a "Kiddie King" or something? No faster than 15,s! Fastest off the line and closest to 15.00 wins the Kiddie King... :dunno:

That could be a fun class. Give the kids a shot at heads up racing with a chance to win. The only bad thing is that I always hate seeing someone eliminated for doing too well in stuff like this. I guess it would make it a real art and something to be truly proud of for anyone that can consistently run that time. It's almost like bracket racing with no spotting because of the time limit. :dunno:

You might be surprised at just how consistent a scoot can be? I dunno? Watch a few scoots run right within a couple tenths of the dial all day long.

I don't think the two king of the hill classes is a good idea, I mean its just for fun, no points or anything. When he turns 15 and has two years of track experience he can go for the glory
