You requested and we delivered.
Rule Changes:
1. Racers as young as 13 can compete with a 15 second and under scooter. Go faster than 15.00 and your DQ'ed.
15 and older will compete just like everyone else.
2. Only one brake will be required.
Same rules will apply to the Twist and Gone! which will be held May 11th - 13th.

If you're under 15 and have a nice 2T, do your wheelie off the line, hit the brake, and then just stay barely ahead of the 4T beside you. I talk a lot of smack for a fat man that never shows up to race. Seriously, I'm glad to see more people have an opp to get on the track.

Yep but in the Jr Dragsters they are only allowed in the 13's till a certain age so I thought 15's was fair. The track just wants us to be safe and this is the best plan we can come up with to keep everyone safe and happy. Ohhhh GT you soooo funnny....

Put a rev limiter on Paxton,s scoot Wouldn't it be easier to put a spacer in the trans?

Haha  , it was a joke. Along with "pulling my rear brakes" :scared:
Although i will have to slow his scoot some. I know he is right on the line if not already quicker than 15,s ;D

I ran too fast in test n tune time without a helmet (in a car) and the track officials were rather upset and I've watched friends run faster than 10.00 without an NHRA license and piss the officials off. All cases we were informed we weren't welcome to participate anymore, at least. So what happens if someone's a little fast before the actual event in test n tune time? Get a chance to slow it down or just get out?

I know there will be some room for testing but I would suggest you start out slow and build up to the 15 second bar instead of starting out in the 13's and going slower.

Like the track said "Its all about safety". If they feel we are being unsafe they will shut it down.

Are there scooter road races anywhere ? I wrote an organizer for some organization(Tommy Thunder), and never got a response. If there are any road races in the Mid West, Id love to try to race again . . . :checkered:
