im looking for a cylinder kit to my scoot.
aprilia SR50 minarelli
BGM PRO REEDS Malossi Variator PHBG 19mm carb.
i want to use my scoot to have fun and ride some times on a week.
what kit do you know for me?
i'm liking the satage6 70cc racing cylinder or a motoforce 70cc racing cylinder? or other??
i want quality, darability and fun!!!

i personaly like the top performance brand the trophy is a great street kit lots of torque and can rev nice and high with the right pipe it will rev sky high the trophy is a cast iron 2 ring kit
the stage 6 race is just that a race kit single ring al kit there is teh stage 6 street race that is a cast iron sport kit stage 6 also offers the sport pro that is an al singe ring sport kit

im running a ported corsa on the street right now with a leo zx i put 5000 miles on this summer the zx realy holds that kit back

i bought mine used in a bunch of parts for my lc conversion its ok im not a wheelie guy but she runs 60 mph and i have it limited to that with the efi system and the leo zx

if you want to use it a bit and want reliability i would go for a twin ring cast iron kit

Twin ring or have a backup set of single ring pistions and rings when they wear.

Yes, But it will change the port timing. You would get less effective port duration with the double ring piston. All depends on the port placement and size on the cylinder you use as to just how much? Yes, it will run.. Just how well is the magic? Ive seen folks go the other route, but never from a single to double ring piston. Ide just take Enviro,s advice and get the single ring set-up with a spare.

i bought from him the polini corsa its a double ring piston.
i think it will be better frm my use.

Just a note on the wheelies, a lot of that is in your CVT setup and gearing. Some scoots will make good power and never wheelie (without rider effort/skill at least). Some will make a little power and pop the tire up pretty easy. If you want the best takeoff, spend some time making sure the belt rides low in the front pulley at rest and get the right clutch springs in there.
