I personally stay away from the ruima crank if u don't want to break down. Ive seen them crack at the oil pump splines... Both the orange stuffed and not stuffed cranks. Thats been a thing since before I got into mopeds around 2010.... More recently my friends crank broke the other month while we were riding I had to go home and pick him up with my truck. Hopefully u have better luck than them. Theres some tfc stuff i may look into, but as of now plan is the Ruima. Not gonna go malossi or Corsa or anything, just a bigger cylinder. Not pushing rpms, just a more cc pushed build Alot of them were paired with 82/86 bores. And my friend who's crank most recently broke ended up getting another motor and going stock crank 72 for more reliability. His old motor was already cut for the bigger boost port on the 82/86 so he couldn't go back to 72. What's wrong with your current setup? You say you want reliability but the path/parts you are talking about doesn't seem to align with that.

You could always go the scootertuning 90cc setup. 50mm iron bore with a 44mm stroke. The cylinder is reliable and the crank is totally metal not a plastic stuffer crank like the Rumia. The setup is pretty cheap compared to a lot of other options.
Theres some JISO, YFS and Level 10 cranks out there too that are supposedly high quality. Harder to get but good stuff still anyways.

I dont need super super reliable. Its just gonna be a ripper and a wheelie bike. Also, I was set on the 120 so now im just tryna do my own build. Just wanna do something to be me ya know, just wanna get a bike that does 70 and rips ass. Also, i wanna be able to call it a mini stroker or stroker cause it sounds cool. My goals are childish 😂

I plan on using the 90cc scooter tuning setup on my Dio Baja once it arrives from Japan. Pitobread installed it on a friends Dio. He seemed pleased with it.
There are also some 50mm aluminum cylinders coming out of Taiwan nowadays. They supposedly have a more agressive porting and will have better thermals.

So Ive rode the Elite for a while and more decided on what im gonna do. Ive particularly found it really appealing as a wheelie bike/daily ripper. Trying to keep up with the Grom boys offroad uh.....didnt go so well. To be fair, I also lowsided into a median doing a wheelie sooo 😂. Me and bike are okay, helmet is not.
But ive decided to stick with the sentiment of making a torque monster. Low end and mid with enough power to fill out the 16/36 gears to or at 70mph. Part of me wants to go Corsa, but ill be honest, i love this Naraku kit. I believe its the 75cc kit, and its an utter ripper. The bike kinda runs weird if the temp outside gets much over 75, but this cylinder kicks ass. Keeps up with or whoops the Groms, super duper reliable. I may go Corsa but ive put 400 hard ass miles on this cylinder and its still trucking along. So i may just go another Naraku cylinder.
But the guy who built this bike definitely took a few shortcuts. Rigged up the oil pump plug so when i went offroading it popped out. Its now in proper with a bracket and bolts. Also, had a 9 plug in it that fouled so I went down to an 8. Runs a lil better methinks

I've always liked the small Hondas, I've only owned yamaha jogs which are small as well. From everything I've seen the Honda af has more potential than the Mina. Due to the intake design I assume, nice ride

Motor wise, im probably not gonna throw in a mini stroke crank until the motor blows. But this 75cc naraku cylinder wows me more and more, puts up with wide open, beating on it, weather changes, miles of wheelies, its crazy. Still does 60 even with a worn belt. May drop the carb size to a 21mm, this thing drinks gas and now losing my fuel gauge as long as it doesnt change performance by much id rather lose a lil and get better mileage. Just dont see the need for the 24mm until im pulling more air, if I even do. This Naraku is getting it done in spectacular fashion

Options options...... Also, front end. I really dont wanna do a disc swap. Its either an expensive ass kit or I have to throw stuff together and guess. Id be keeping front drum and just switching to standard forks to eliminate the Elites horrible front end dive that makes the front brakes basically useless. The mini stroker would see speeds that would play nicely with a front drum for daily use, the 120....im not too sure. I have looked into getting an af18 clone engined bike and tuning that into a stroker, Kymco ZX50, Vitality, but theres no good ZX50s on market and I cant confirm if the Vitality is in fact a vertical af18 clone. Hello I am not sure if you figured this out by yourself. But the Vitality uses a horizontal Dio/Minarelli mixture. it is not the vertical the ZX uses.
