so i bought a 07 vento triton 4 stroke today for 450 dollars its in real good condition had a 1000 miles on it everything stock tops out at like 31 mph lol it has the egr valve cover doesnt that restrict it? and the other thing was the previous owner said it had synthetic oil in it and when i took the dipstick out there was oil litteraly coming out of where the dipstick went and it had kinda a redish tint to it so that makes me nervous ive never ran a moped with synthetic in it ive heard there not supposed to be this thing is runnin fine.
any tips or trick for a vento?

I run mine off 10w 40 semi-synthetic and when I swapped it over from normal grade oil I noticed a difference, not much power gain to doing things to 4 stroke but when I changed my oils I noticed the bike just ran a lot smoother no real power gain but a smoother ride and general running well worth the swap, I noticed a lot of people on other forums suggest fully synthetic oil is fine and does a better job, but once you've made the change its best to then stick with semi or full sythetic oil from then on. unless your breaking in a new BBK or something

Synthetic is fine. Actually good IMO. Some manufacturers do make red oil, Redline Racing I believe is one, so hopefully it's not ATF in there. Probably not, you just never know what the fellow before you may have done.
The emissions stuff isn't really a restriction. If it had any restrictions it would likely be a rev limited CDI, a washer in the variator to limit belt travel, or a washer in the exhaust header.
