Well it's home from the scrap yard and in my garage awaiting a rat build with 80cc top end and using all the Chinese spares I have taking up space. This will happen after I have stripped the Piaggio Skipper 125cc of all useable spares for the Vespa ET4 125cc Blue Meanie.

Now you must vow to not adopt any new projects until at least one of those is completed.

None planned just new bits on son's motorcycle, Blue Meanie and electric tricycle and get the four bicycles done and sold. Infact two are ready jackrides.

Free ramp this evening and a nice dry sunny day so whilst sorting brake on 350 Cagiva I decided to push my one over and a quick wash. One thing lead to another and I put it on ramp put battery pack on and a bit of pipe and funnel for petrol. Tried start no joy, poked about and found side stand switch cut that and away it went , of course used a bit of easy start fluid to save starter motor. Impressive that living outside in the scrap yard as it is now for two years that it started.

Tank drained of about half pint of water plus bits of rust and manky gas. Fuel tap saved though.

Bit of fettling and rustling up bits and found a new fuel tap. Onwards we go.
Emissions tube from exhaust got blocked off with Milliput which is made down the road in Ammanford, very good stuff rub 2 bits together in your hands and apply to wherever and it goes off really quickly . lots of self tappers holding broken bodywork together, tomorrow electrics.

Put new rear tyre on this evening and found one of the brake shoe springs missing and seized brake arm needed to clear ramp so poked wheel on for now as to dark hunt a spring. It's now shoved out the way till time comes to tinker, may even be school holidays in Xmas.

Nearly finished Vespa so time to pull this out of the cobwebs so I can get an idea of what parts will be going on it by doing a mock up. Then back in the cobwebs again.......maybe.
