I am from the U.K and I used to be big into the Auto scooter scene 10 yrs ago or so, but lost interest due to work and other commitments etc . So long story short, my Gilera Runner 70cc got stored away at the back of my shed gathering dust. Then covid 19 struck and lock down happened, and I decided to get the old war horse back out and see if i could get her going again. Any how I was looking for a good forum for inspiration, and I also started watching videos of Brents? 86cc TPR build on you tube, which led me here...  |

Nice runner. I still see the odd one about. But not that many now.

Hi there aeroxbud, yes your right i dont see many 2T Runners around at all these days myself either, cant remember the last time i even saw an Aerox either. The U.K scooter forums are pretty much dead these days as well, some of them I used to go on seem to have shut down completely. im from Coventry in the West midlands. |

A friend and I built this from the ground up a couple years ago he sold it and got a sr50 but I still see it around along with a couple of others  |

Welcome to forum,that's a smart looking scoot,the price of scoots has shot up make sure you bolt it down,start a build thread, it helps to get a "feel" for your ride.by forum size we are neighbours your only a stones throw from me in glorious wigan  Geoff |

Hi geoffh Wigan.. home town to one of my favourite bands The verve  and yes i am very careful about security, ive actually owned this Runner for 18 years, and its been through many engine set ups in that time.... its currently mid race with a stage 6 racing mk1 70cc cylinder and a yasuni C16 pipe. |

So many of the old forums are long gone now. Scooter nation run by Dave from Coventry used to be good.
He had a couple of runners. But think he lost his love for the scooter scene. Shame he was very knowledgeable about Gilera scoots.

Shame he was very knowledgeable about Gilera scoots. Scooternations was a good forum, politics killed it really. Daves still around, not to the extent he used to be, he posts occasionally under a different name now incognito. hes just happy to be part of the scene, without the pressure of running a forum. This looks like a good forum, friendly folk... good community spirit, lots of knowledge very impressed so far |
