Been riding my 75cc Elite, but lately ive began riding pitbikes. I love the pegs, saddle design and the easier ride than the scooters im so used to. However, if i did get a pitbike and throw lights on it, id get pulled over in maybe half a second on any main road. So, i decided to slightly fulfil the guilty pleasure that is...an actual moped. Tomos Targa LX specifically, just love how they look. Just wondering if anyone has experience with these, id big bore or whatever i need to get 45 to 50mph, daily ish driver, wheelies, and a bit of offroad. Lemme know if youve owned one, and how it was!

1977 mopeds has a lot of parts. Building a 50mph tomos isnt as easy as a scooter. You need a 70cc, decent pipe like a Homoet and something like 17.5-19mm carb. Upgears also. The clutch on these tomos bikes have always been a blind spot for me. Don't know if they can hold the strains of engine mods.
