It says to start here so here I am. I live in a remote area of Costa Rica and wanted an electric bike mostly to go up the hill into town here. They were selling small ones in chain stores in the region, but I ordered a more powerful one, 1500W, from the capital San José. I requested the manual but they didn't give me one, saying it was only in Chinese. I could handle that since I have Chinese friends, but they still haven't sent it to me or even identified the brand. It says "EI Sports" on it, but I can't find anything about EI Sports on the Internet and am wondering if anyone here can perhaps help me with this. Thanks. I don't understand the indicator lights, for one thing.

I don't understand the indicator lights, for one thing. Are you not used to scooter/motorcycle controls, or is there something particularly odd about the turn signals?

I think that may be an electric scoot from the post and may have battery condition lights or such things. It is a total mystery to me. That bike pedal like thing may be a kick start but I really can't see the picture well enough. There is no picture of the opposite side.

Welcome to the forum,at first glance it looks electric and the pedals are for rider input??.it should have a chassis number stamped into the frame,a long series of letters and digits that can be decoded, the chassis number should be on any paperwork you got with the scoot,it,s hard to imagine the controls are difficult to work you may need to apply the brake to start it,take more pictures,we like to help Geoff
