so i finally completed my china scoot build. this was something i always wanted and i finally was able to build one. so this was pretty much the scooter when it was stock, minus the exhaust and the fog lights. pretty much stock for the most part.
this is after: it has 47mm BBK, A9 cam, Blue CDI, exhaust, racing variator, fake "20mm" tunable carbutetor, 4.25gr + 6gr staggered roller weights, lowered and stretched, custom frame brace,, LED lighting all around, a bunch of creature comfort mods and gauges. pretty much it has all of the typical mods done to it yes, that is a mini dirtbike tire in the back. i didnt want the fat 3.50 profile tire in the rear that it came with, and im thinking the 2.75 mini dirtbike tire profile will gear it down a bit and give me a tiny bit more accereration, but that might just be in my head and i like the look of it lol. top speed is just about 45mph so far. but i finally have it to where im happy with it and i wanted to share with everyone. and thanks to everyone here, the knowledge base here is awesome and i wouldnt have been able to do it without this forum.

Looks good! One bad thing about those offroad tires is that they do have noticeably less grip on pavement. Mostly matters for cornering on scoots. I guess with the center stand that close to the ground, you probably aren't taking turns too fast, but just be aware of it.

Your Tao Tao series videos were one of the reasons why I went with a china scoot I have noticed the rear being a bit squirrelly while cornering with the dirt bike tire. I’m noticing the knobs do wear pretty fast on pavement too. Thinking about it now, It might’ve not been the best tire choice lol. I have scraped and bottomed out the center stand a few times on it. I’m not used to it being this low, and the beat up roads in PA don’t help lol
