I just installed the 100cc from scrappydog into ny benelli x50 frame. Everything went smooth and dge fired right up. But when I went to test drive it it just had no top end power at all. It feels like its not turning much rpm. I tested for manifold leaks and everything is fine. I've tried two different carbs with jets ranging from 70-100# nothing really changes. Tried the airbox and an open element. Again, nothing really changes. I'm going to try roller weights tonight and see what the belt size is. Scrappydog says its designed for a 12" wheel. Should this matter that much? I'm perplexed. I'm honestly tired of fixing and re fixing these things. I just, wanted to install this motor and be done with it. The plug looks good, but the carb slide seems more oily than I've noticed before on other engines.

The only reason the wheel size should really come into play would be if you had something much larger or smaller that would throw the gearing off. Most common 10-13" wheels shouldn't be far enough off to make it that slow.
The lack of RPM would make me wanna try swapping CDIs if your current one isn't known to be unrestricted and seeing if the rollers are too heavy since you've tried jetting. Check everything over when you're under the CVT cover.
Sometimes they'll feel week from a lack of compression. Shouldn't be an issue with a new motor, but I've seen enough other people post about issues with the engines from Scrappy that I wouldn't rule it out till I checked it.

Current cdi is unrestricted, but trying a different cdi has come across as an idea. What kind of compression numbers would you expect to see.? Besides the base gasket, head gasket, and piston rings what else could cause compression loss? The mechanic at my local shop said he saw 120psi when warm on the same motor. He said he reshaped his head and got .150psi.

If he's seen 120psi, that's OK. Not ideal for best power, but it should be capable of above 30 easy. 140-180psi, depending on other factors a bit, is generally where you hope to get compression for good street performance.
The stuff you listed are the common causes for loss, it could be lower simply from setup. Too wide of a squish clearance is common.

The rollers are 5g's and the variator roller ramps were mild so I put in Steeper variator in. I wouldn't think putting 4g's in will help much but who knows. Best tune I could get is with an arreche 21mm with a #105. Its soft seizing a good bit but I think thats the motor breaking in. It ran best with a 95# byt soft seizeing way to nuch. This is with an open element filter. Trued the airbox but it was too restrictive. I dont have anything below #95 to run the box with. Maybe Ill order a few lower jet sizes so I can run the box. I have a 110# I can try. Im going to guess the problem lies in the timing of my cdi. Do you know what cdi might work better?

If you haven't already, try removing the snorkel from the airbox and you might be closer on jetting. I can't say soft seizing is a normal part of my break-ins. It happens at times, but not a break-in deal, it's cause I have something wrong.

Btw, I've tried running the stock carb, and jet the motor came with. Both with the box and without and it won't run well on any other jet size w stock carb. Its currently running around 40 ish mph now.

I'll try the snorkel. Is like to run the box if possible.

Ran good with the snorkel off but then it soft seized. Tried everything. Running a 110# and lowest needle position, with oil injection and premix and it soft seized within one mile.

100% sure there are no leaks anywhere (pressure test)?

No pressure test but I will. There has to be something not right.
