I am new to the scooter scene and I just bought a Cabo cruiser 48E light about seven months ago and I am definitely getting my moneys worth out of it I ride it everywhere and I absolutely love it!! But just recently I started rapidly losing power and my battery so naturally I replaced the battery cost me 300 bucks and unbelievably it is still doing it and I can’t figure out why I have tested the charger with a voltmeter and the charger is fine I am wondering if it could be something in my controller or possibly my throttle because I ride it so much that now my throttle is very loose and I have to pull back a lot on it to go anywhere so I’m thinking this might be the issue but I don’t know any suggestions? Thanks Jessica

Welcome to the forum Jessica. I'm not sure, but this is a moped based forum. Are you referring to a stand up electric scooter?

Welcome! For clarification, is it losing power as in acceleration/speed or the battery is quickly losing charge or showing low voltage? If the throttle doesn't feel right, then I would at least check that. Vid below may help. If not, see if you can find a service manual with procedures and specs for testing. youtu.be/MuaY6SzpDHc

Even if it is an eletric stand up scoot, it IS 2 wheels! And a great start to a life of excitement.
