I have an aprilia SR motard and I have a, issue right now in which, it will start and I can ride it for 300 metres then it cuts out. I wait for 3 or 4 minutes then It will start again and then the same pattern again and again. When it cuts after 300 metres it sounds like theres too much air due to the noise but not sure if anyone can help. The oil and fuel run fine, the battery and spark plug flywheel are all fine.
In my opinion something in the carbeurator is not right if anyone can help itll be much appreciated

If it walks like a duck, talks like a duck… you could have an air leak. Not familiar with that bike, but you could have a hairline crack on the car, the manifold, etc. it it’s got a vacuum line, could be there. Something could be sucking in air when it runs for a bit. Could be a leaky carb. The vacuum builds up enough to where it’s strong enough to pull air in through the crack/leaky spot. You turn it off and it dissipates and then runs again, ultimately doing the same thing. Look around the carb/manifold for cracks. Check the lines, etc.

Could also be a clogged vent in the fuel tank.

Those Piaggio fuel caps can be troublesome. Try loosening the cap and giving it test ride.
