So I’ve really missed not having anything with two wheels since I sold my scooter ( boner move ). But recently I’ve really got the itch for either the Sur Ron X or the newer Talaria Sting. There’s something about an electric motorcycle that I just need to have one. I got zero interest in electric cars, but bikes make sense to me. Being able to ride pretty much anywhere because there super quite really opens a lot of doors for where I live. There’s tons of after market support for them so the tuning aspect is there that we all love. You can buy kits to make them 72v 15kw!! Anyways, I plan to order one in next few days and should take delivery of it late march. Im really leaning towards the Talaria as it was designed by the same people that built the Sur Ron but upgraded a few key parts. Not sure if there’s any interest here for an electric MTB/Dirtbike but I’ll post some updates/pics when I take delivery. I can't do the two wheel thing anymore but that talaria sounds fun. Do you have off-road places to ride it? It sounds like they have it restricted. How does one change that? Is it a dealer software thing or just a switch etc?

There are some kids up where I live, all five have the Surron. They ride them illegally on the roads. I got overtaken by one doing about 50mph lad summer.
Both look great fun if you have somewhere to ride it.

Both look great fun if you have somewhere to ride it. My area has a huge MTB trail system. I’ll be able to ride it everywhere. Plus I camp a lot in the summer. There’s kits that make them street legal as well. There’s also a pedal kit for the Sur Ron. It’s kinda bulshit but makes it “legal” to ride on bike paths. |

I finally got my bike, only a month late. This thing is hands down the best toy I’ve ever had. It’s amazing, that’s all I got.
