This has kept me busy for quite a while. I've still only done half of the garage, but it's the area that requires the most effort. I've wanted to share with you guys, but I managed to stay quiet till the vid was done. Click to see the video!

Nice work!
I'm with Robert Pierce, I was going to suggest conveyor belting for the bench top when the video started.
I used to just estimate a project and then double the time and the $$. As I have aged and inflation got worse I quadrupled the time and cost estimates. Now estimates are reaching infinity.

I really enjoy making over my garage and now I think it’s time for an overhaul! Thanks for the tips and ideas!

Thanks fellas.
I can't say that I enjoyed a lot of it. I dread all painting projects. I do get some odd satisfaction out of organizing, and putting up the vinyl planks was kinda cool because I've never done anything similar and somehow I didn't manage to screw it up. They may fall off of the wall tomorrow, but as of now I like them for ease of install, looks and function.

Nice upgrade!
Home repair and improvement projects are not my favorite at all. However as of late I have been steadily working on my mobile home since October last year. Years of neglect have caught up to it. So far I have repaired the floor and walls at the front door that included repairs to the floor joists. Retrofitted a real house front door in place of the mobile home door. Made repairs to the wall and subfloor under a couple windows that were leaking. New LVP flooring in the living room and hallway. Pulled the vinyl siding off of one side of the house to repair damage to a wall and roof that was caused by previous roof leaks. While I had the siding off I retrofitted 2 new house windows in place of the 2 mobile home windows that were leaking. I have completely gutted a bathroom to make repairs to the wall, subfloor and ceiling. I am currently retrofitting a house style vanity and a fiberglass shower enclosure in place of the mobile home style crap that was there. The list of stuff that needs to be done is still very long but I am chipping away at it, mostly by myself. Hopefully I can get the bathroom finished in a week or 2 then I plan on taking a break from it due to our busy season of tourists and HVAC work. Gonna have to make time for scooters in there somewhere!

Thanks Scott... now it doesn't sound like I've been that busy at all. lol Even when the work sucks, I'm sure it feels good to take big chunks out of that checklist. I look at this sort of like I do dentist or doctor appointments. Walking out of the office is the best feeling, because it's the longest stretch before I've got to do it again.

I've started to do a little to the other side of the garage that I didn't touch last year. Not making fast progress, but I want to get this wrapped up before too long. It's been a long time since my other scoots have been out of the corner. I've intended to fix up the Keeway Venus to sell for 2-3 years now and it's never happened. I'd really like to put the TPR 86cc in my other Triton, but that would require mounting radiators which takes time and money so that's not likely to get done anytime soon either. I've said I'd get back to Project TaoTao forever and now it's been a pile of years. The moped should have been finished before now. 😵 I always end up wrapped up in T2 and videos and everything else gets pushed aside. I got a bunch of stuff moved and took down a shelf and other bits that I don't want anymore. Cleaned all of the performance decals off of the window. I was pretty motivated to get a lot done... and then my father says the brakes are grinding on the Altima. Found one rear caliper locked up. I replaced complete caliper/bracket assemblies, pads, rotors and brake hoses 20,000 miles ago, but it's been 4.5 years. Everything is stuffed into my scooter bay, but I did manage to leave enough room to get T2 and the TMAX out and access the workbench. The problem is, there's still more stuff to move.

Time goes so fast sometimes. You get wrapped up in other things and before you know it, years have passed. I really was going to rebuild the CB250 engine and sell the bike last summer. Then I brought another aerox project. 🙈 The problem is you enjoy T2 so much. It sucks up all your time. That and the massive job you did on the Tmax.

Garage looks great 👍
Now comes the true hard part, keeping it clean and not letting it get back to what it was. I usually clean my garage when I can't find anymore 10mm sockets lol

Garage looks great 👍 Now comes the true hard part, keeping it clean and not letting it get back to what it was. I usually clean my garage when I can't find anymore 10mm sockets lol I lost a 5mm Allen socket out of my ¼ drive blue point socket set and to buy one singular socket was damn expensive so I made do with a 5mm Allen key instead which was a pain. Anyhow a year or so later found one of the same make in an old scooter I bought. Problem solved. My shed is quite empty except for rubbish so when the freeze has gone and I can open the door maybe time to clean it out before the BMX and sidehack goes back in it.

I just went to get kerosene so I'll be able to heat whenever I prime and paint. 😯 I planned on spending $60 to get 12 gallons since the price has been $5/gal for many years now locally. Ended up spending $80 to get 10 gallons. OK. Well, I'll be saving heat for paint/primer only at that rate.
I've basically just been cleaning stuff up otherwise. Scrubbed the floor where there was oil residue. I have a metal tray where I keep catch cans and that was covered in oil residue so I cleaned that all up. Put a few screws in paneling to secure it a little better. The walls/shelves/stairs are basically ready for sanding. Not sure that I am.

Any refined petroleum product or product made from petroleum like plastics have doubled in price due to the war. It will take a while to stabilize prices again. Supply chain disruptions due to war and disease are causing most of our inflation.
What kind of heating system do you use in the main house?
Brake hoses can collapse internally, acting like a check valve, causing brake calipers or cylinders to lock up.
Oil residue on floors can be cleaned up by using old clay type cat litter scoured into the floor. Basically 'dancing' on it to grind it in.
