When I was in the supermarket last week. The guy in front brought 216 tins of food! Maybe he has a large family and they really love Chef Boyardee? The only thing that I did was fill up the vehicles when gas prices shot up, thinking I better save a few bucks before it gets worse. Then MD's governor knocked off the $0.36 per gallon tax after I did that. Kinda wishing I stocked up on metal earlier (not necessarily to build Faraday cages). Even with something like garage shelving, I initially looked at a shelf for $150. A week later it was $165-175. Now, a few weeks later, the same shelf is at $200-215. The one that I ended up getting for the garage was $299 2-3 weeks ago. It's now $349. Usually it's a sales pitch when they tell you that you must buy now if you want this price, but lately it's the truth.

I don't have to stock up on anything. If we have WWIII KC will get blown away completely. The decades of nuclear winter afterward will outlast ANY stock of food for everyone, anywhere in the world. Stockpiling is pointless.

I don't have to stock up on anything. Stockpiling is pointless. Wrong. Scooter parts and 2T oil should be stockpiled at all times.

But, but, but, -the only 2T I have is a string trimmer and I won't need that when all the plants die from lack of sunlight and cold... A scoot won't do me any good in a blizzard. I suppose I could pour the 2T oil on the fire to remember the good old days just before I freeze to death or die from radiation burns. PUCK FUTIN!

The local paper had a discussion on 1954 Civil Defense and fallout shelters. -As if a home fallout shelter could ward off a nuclear blast. Kansas City will be a molten sea of glass afterward. The KC area is near or at the top of almost every major target list; communications, transport, pipelines, rails, military, etc... The media is having a feeding frenzy throwing blame for gas prices, war, and inflation everywhere around as if anyone except the Russians could do anything to cool off this WWIII situation. Speaking of cooling, Global warming is causing plenty of global wildness and nothing will cool that situation. Be prepared for fires, floods, storms, drought, famine, more pestilence, etc. and yes more wars. The four horsemen are riding.

I just checked something on amazon and on the main page they recommended a 12 pack of MREs to me for $140. I haven't looked at any food or any prepper sort of items to prompt it. I thought regular groceries were expensive. I can't afford enough to live more than a few days at that cost, so thanks but I'll take my chances amazon.

I just went grocery shopping this afternoon. Prices on one item have increased $0.50 but everything else has stayed the same for the last two years. When I got home I overindulged as usual. Now I am stuffed. I may have to sleep it off... SSDD
I always enter Amazon through my orders page. I search from there also, so I almost never see their crap ads.

I'm prepared for anything now. I bought 2 slice's of homemade gluten free lemon drizzle cake and a bar of white chocolate for Armageddon for me and Yolanda. Packed a change of socks and underwear and our tinfoil hats are ready under the table for when we have to duck, dive and take cover.
Oh and all you 2T guy's should have listened to me and the environmentalunatics and got eco friendly 4T scooter's. Don't say I didn't warn you all!
