Left brake switch wire supposed to diff than right one? Right one has a rubber cover over it...with a spring like wire around it....all I see of the left one is bout a 1/4 inch nub...it was broken off and cable missing when I got it. Going to order a new switch wire...but now sure which one to buy...or how it goes on. Any got any ideas or diagrams? In the pic...you will see the nub.Do remove that and install the new part in the hole.....or does the new part fit over it?....Thanks.....never had a brake switch problem.... You have to remove the brake lever to remove the old switch then slip the wires through the brake lever bracket and slide the switch in. There's a little nub on the switch that has to face the right way so the switch will seat all the way in.

It's simple stuff. Take off the lever and push it out. Put the new one in wires first. Hook up the wires reinstall lever. Done!
