I think I go overboard sometimes, but yet I still feel like I need more... Since I've had a few people talking to me about doing a little work for them, I thought I needed to have a few small parts around so there was less chance of holding up a job for something minor. I ordered some different Keihin and Mikuni main and pilot jets and organized them along with the jets I already had around. I also ordered 15x12 rollers from 3g-8 and 16x13 rollers from 3g-14g. I've got some extra 1/4" Tygon around, a couple fuel filters and shutoff valves, and about 10 exhaust gaskets. I also picked up two UNI ripoffs pretty cheap to keep around. This is on top of parts I already have around form the two Tritons and all my fasteners, connectors, fittings, etc... that I try to keep around. I did add some extra 6, 7, and 8mm hardware too. Would you believe I still end up needing to make a trip to the hardware store half of the time? Anyway... I still have 1000, 1500, and 2000RPM main springs and clutch spring sets on the way. I'm considering ordering 10 and 12mm wrist pin bearings too. I'd really like to get both 10 and 12mm version sof the Polini Sport and Autotech355 70cc kits to have around. That may or may not happen. I really can't afford to have them sitting around unused if these guys change their minds. I'm not gonna be able to swing the credit card bill this month if I add that stuff on and they don't come through either. I don't like paying interest on this stuff. Can you tell I'm ready to work on some scooters? ;D I'm still not sure I'm prepared, but it's a start. Maybe I'll pick up a few more things if these guys start coming through with business. Oh, I also picked up a flywheel puller for the 139QMB, .004" angled feeler gauge for adjusting vavles, and a better vavle spring compressor.

Now thats a good start! At first i though you had your tackle out ready to go fishing lol. I would say you have a pretty good start for normal tuning and such. Go ahead and get the BB kits if you can? I also have some people wanting work done on there scoots, so if you dont need em i might. If not thats ok, just a thought.

I am thinking about getting a set of those cheap roller sets that have 3 to 12gram sets or somewere in that area anyway. Is that what you got Vert? There was a set on ebay very cheap. I figured they would make great tuning rollers. You could find the weight that suits you ride then put a good set in of the same weight.

Yeah, those are from daywot on ebay. He actaully screwed up and sent me 2 sets of 3-8g rollers in the minarell kit instead of a set of 3-8g and a set of 9-14g. Works for me. Even my 99cc has never used over 7.7g. I had a few sets of 4g rollers around already. 4-5g will cover the run of the mill minarelli builds I think. I used 4g on my 49cc, 70cc, and 99cc until I finally got the engine right and then it needed 6-7g. I'm waiting on at least one of them to show up with some money before I go ordering parts. So far I have 3 people interested, 2 in BBKs, but no one handing out cash or setting up appointments. I got these in today. These are a no risk investment IMO since I have engines that use both styles of plugs and I believe the 150cc GY6 in my garage can use the CR's.

Just got the Naraku High Speed Variator kit in too for the 139QMB. Nice kit. If the guy doesn't come through, I will have no complaints using it on my own 4 stroke. In case you are wondering why you see 10 rollers, there are 2 full sets. One 5.8g set in the bag and 1 6.3g set with 2 rollers in the variator and the 4 shown around it.

Wow that is nice! How much for it? Do you have any variaters with extended ramps that you are willing to sell? Im looking for Skeedr. I do have the 13mm shaft but i think you can switch the insert bushing? Not sure?

I do have the 13mm shaft but i think you can switch the insert bushing? Not sure? This one is $80 from Enviromoto for the 139QMB. The only good aftermarket variator I have is installed on my scooter. I have a crappy one that slowed me down, but it's missing a part. Even if you swithc bushings, the ramp plate wouldn't fit the wrong size shaft. I love part drop off days, its like Christmas in July! WoohHooh I hate it. lol I still haven't got the parts I need to start working on the retro. I just keep getting all the parts I don't need right now. It was a good joke at first, but now it really is true that the parts I need are absolutely last. I ordered some of this stuff a few days after the Roketa and sunlparts.net orders. a.k.a, I'm broke and I have nothing to show for it right now.

Damn, Brent, that contra spring looks like the heaviest I've ever seen. Maybe it's only the reflections. Looks like it ought to go on that 700 Gilera. Some thought sure went into packaging that kit. It sure looks more expensive than 70 bux.

I did finally get one job from the group of guys I raced with my Triton. I got a call saying his belt came off and he put an old one on. Now it won't go down where is should. When I pulled the cover off, I saw this. At first glance, I thought it would be a quick easy job. Someone just didn't get the vari installed right. On closer inspection, he's got a real problem. The variator face is stripped of the keyway for the star washer, and that washer is broke. I had to fight everything off of the crank splines because they're damaged. The rollers are chewed up and flat spotted. The sliders in the variator are missing/melted to the inside of the variator. The belt had melted partially to the variator face. He's looking for replacement parts now, talking to all the shops he knows of within 2 hrs of here. I would have had him covered, but his scooter has the 13mm splines and my spare parts are all 16mm. I'm trying to file his crank splines so the parts will slide over it alright. This dude rides. I thought I rode alot. Not so much. Him and the rest of the group rode 100 miles each way yesterday. 250 miles altogether. Next weekend they have a similar trip planned. I'm doing pretty well to get out for 100-150 miles in a day. lol He's got 7,3XX miles on the Eton Beamer III. I have just over that on both my Tritons combined.
