It's only a problem when I run out of space or my wife tells me so. 2005 Piaggio Typhoon. It was purchased at a police auction and that's all that I was told. I got it home, checked for spark, and went to bed happy. The next day, I sprayed some pre-mix down the carb and got it to fire up. Wonderful! These come with a Del 17.5 stock. This is where I could use some help. I stupidly bent the pickup tube. When I went to correct it, I snapped it off! Does anyone know if I can buy the tube separately and press it in? Is it only for the choke circuit? More pics to come.

You on about the brass tube inside the carb? I have never seen these for sale on there own. Which actual carb is it as the same with a few different versions of Dellorto?

There's not really anything I can think of for a Dell'Orto that you can't get a replacement for.
You're not just talking about the throttle cable elbow, are you? That would be easy fix, probably screw in.
Treatland.tv for Dell'O parts!

Sorry for the poor description. I am adding pics below. I believe it is a Del PHVA 17.5. This is the version with the auto-enricher. It looks like it is a pick up tube for the choke circuit as it is directly under the enrichment needle.

You can see where it is supposed to fit in the fuel bowl above.

No pics on this update but progress has been made!
Although I broke the pickup tube for the choke circuit, I cleaned the heck out of the stock carb and got it running. I replaced the auto-enricher for a manual choke toggle and just leave the choke closed off. It pays to hoard parts.
It took a half hour of run time to get the stink of old gas to burn off and now smokes very little for a two stroke.
I'm running a 70 Main jet, but I think I'm still rich as I can tell that I am 'riding the needle.' It doesn't love WOT but it doesn't decelerate at WOT either. If I can find a 66, I'll throw that in next.
All in all, I'm into the Typhoon and parts for less than $150!
