I picked up this probe adapter for finding battery parasitic drains (dead battery) www.ebay.com/itm/353928765930I have tried it and can say it works nicely. I recommend for sure Couple things: 1. It is a probe. It requires connecting to a multimeter. 2. It converts the current that it senses to a millivolt output to meter. A meter with a low millivolt range is preferred. 3. User does have to convert the display reading Nothing complicated, just have to "move the decimal" A chart on the probe shows the conversion 4. It is a clamp probe That is a huge deal, no breaking the circuit open to attach, which can be problematic on intermittent issues Takes away the chance of plugging the meter in wrong and causing damage 5. It has a low current sensitivity. Most larger electric current testers aren't accurate at milliamps 6.This probe does DC and AC
