I have a 1990 Yamaha Zuma that I am recommissioning after a 15 year slumber. Bought this scoot new and only put 360 miles on it as a pit bike. Put it in storage years ago and now getting it out and running again. I have fully gone through it cleaning and checking everything. Finally got it started yesterday, but the drain hose that goes from the carb float bowl has fuel pouring out of it as it is running. Not being knowledgeable on this setup, can anyone point me in the right direction to diagnose what is going on? Thanks.

It sounds like the needle valve or float is stuck in the carb.

That makes complete sense. Thank you. It was completely gummed up and soaked it in acetone to clean it out.
