Ever since I did my BBK upgrade I have noticed my engine just coasts off throttle especially after a WOT run. With the stock set up after I let go of the throttle I could hear the engine still firing but now its as though I have turned the engine off when coasting or applying the brakes. I can give it gas and it's still there I just get no sensation off throttle.
Plug chops seem to be good at WOT, mid and low. Is this bad on the motor and what causes this lack of engine braking? Lean condition? Something else?

so when you come to a stop the engine is dead or you are just not hearing the engine run
if you can give it gas and it still there then the engine is still running so i see nothing wrong my bet is you just dont hear it running

I can hear the engine again when the RPMS get back down to about 5MPH or so, nothing before that though. From say top end the engine just "coasts" and from speeds in between until I get to about 5 or 10 MPH I don't hear the engine. But whenever I give it gas the engine is there for me, coasting from 50 to 40, or coasting from 40 to 30 hit the gas and it's there. It's just when I let go of the throttle there is no sound from the engine until I either give it gas or it slows to ~5MPH or so. It sounds like the engine is off when coasting no throttle.

Normal. Not to worry.
