Ok, bear with me here. I got a jdm suzuki address 50 with a morini ac motor from a friend here in SF. I struggled to source decent performance parts for the morini, namely a good pipe. I did find a 65cc airsal kit and a variator. The stock 19mm carb was pretty wacky, so I put on a phbg. I got it running, but just didn't have it in me to tune it.bit wouldn't rev up.
I started looking at the motor mount and realized it isn't far off from piaggio mounts. SSS had piaggio cases for sale and I bought them just as an experiment to see if I could get them to fit. Fitment is good, but I am left missing the kicker cover and the ignition fan shroud. I'm halted there for now while the ebay gods decide if they want to make those parts available.
I'll work on getting picks up to share

Any guidance or advice on sourcing piaggio parts would be a big help. Ill need to find a rear shock that is wide enough for Piaggio and bolts up top to the Suzuki top. I think SR50 or derbi gp1 piaggio shocks are the way to go.
You cant see in the pic, but ill have to cut and weld the motor mount, because it will interfere with the exhaust, as is.

I honestly did a Piaggio to a minarelli frame and I ordered a used rear shock from a Vespa I think from a big seller in Italy or Isreal that had a huge selection on ebay. I did have to weld o a custom peice to the frame to allow the car style shock mount on the top of the Piaggio shocks but it was well worth it those seem to be way better than the standard style that just have a thin belt going threw two flimsy metal ears on either side of the eye. good luck on your project those plastics look killer.

Yeah you got an interesting build I matched a Piaggio onto a minarelli frame Which Isn't exactly the same as what you're doing but Nonetheless I had to mount that engine to a frame that Wasn't designed for it. I definitely agree that you will have to move the mount to the left more Or maybe figure out a spacer that has a center part empty in order to fit your exhaust but I love the look of the plastics on that bike good luck
