Hello everyone! I'd love to see everyone's tach & temp mounting positions are on a Zuma 50cc . I have a good idea where I'm mounting the trail tech but not so sure about the tiny tach. What tach does everyone use... I want something super small! Thanks in advance Mike

I put the trail tech temp gauge here... it covers the oil light but I'm running premix.

I'm at 9300 with a 70cc sport kit and yasuni R Exhaust... 19mm dellorto carb . From what I've been reading that pipe like 9500 to 10k.

I set my weights to shift at just over 9k with a yasuni r malossi sport combo it would peak high 9’s
When I ran lighter weights that shifted closer to 9500 I would peak above 10 k rpm’s my top speed was not higher Take off for both was similar by my butt Dyno
So I defaulted to the 9k rpm set up I just figured I was wasting rpm with the lighter weights
It works the same on my current build I can set the variator so she spins to 10 k rpm’s but I have less power and snappieness than when it peaks at just over 9k

I have pretty much the same set up. I was running a top performance 70 which is similar to what you have. I swapped to a s6 street race a few months ago which is a noticeable upgrade. I’m 255-260 & both setups would cruise at 50 on the flat with a yasuni r & 15/50’s. The s6 is a little faster & revs a little higher. A straight slot torque driver is a good upgrade if you don’t have one. I’m running a 17.5 dell because I’m lazy & wanted to keep the injection & auto choke.

Very nice 👌 what rpm are you running mine seems to come alive after 9k

With the s6 it’s around 9400-9700, the tp was more like 8900-9200. 9500 seems to feel like where it hit the meat of the power band. With the s6 it’ll hit over 10k downhill pretty easy so I let out of it as I’m running the stock crank. With the old kit I think 9700 was the highest I ever saw & that was down a very big hill.

How fast is your scoot, are you running stock gears? I'm running 15-50

No same as you. I’ve hit 59.7 downhill. Wasn’t a mountain but decent hill. I’ve not tried since the s6 kit was installed a few months ago because I think it’d hit over 10,500rpm & I’m not trying to blow it up at the moment. It’s an 05 too. Not sure what year yours is?
