That's a good bit of kit, the Malossi. But I would get something else for an exhaust. For a proper two stroke power pipe you want something like a Yasuni R. It would go well with the bbk, and also work with more tuning. But it looks like you are pretty limited with exhausts. The rolling wrench pipe is just like a four stroke pipe. You really need something with an expansion chamber to make good power. Probably any of these would work better. www.scootertuning.ca/en/21036-exhaust-systemsThe Dellorto is a great carb.

I would definitely get an expansion chamber pipe like Bud recommended.
Don't forget the tuning supplies. I usually like to have a few sets of clutch springs and test each to see what works best. I prefer Dr Pulley sliders vs rollers, but you'll likely need to at least do some weight adjustment whether you use rollers or sliders. A main jet kit for the carb. You don't need to have every jet from 50-200 on hand. Just finding out what comes in the carb (says a 90 on the page) and getting a selection of jets a little larger and smaller than that usually works well. One thing I learned the hard way about jets; don't mix and match. Buy sets or jets from one brand. Preferably a well known brand. I've melted a piston (or two) before by installing a larger main jet to be safe and then later found out that the larger labeled jet was smaller than what I had in there. Now I either get genuine DellOrto jets or buy kits from Polini or Stage6.
If your bike doesn't already have one, a tach is a very nice addition for tuning. You can even install one temporarily if you don't feel the need for it day to day. Many have a wire that can wrap around the plug wire, so setup is pretty simple. Trail Tech TTO is popular, but they aren't backlit and you can find cheaper stuff that will work fine.

Hadn’t considered the need to stay within one brand family

All great advice on here, only suggestion I would add is if this is your first 2 stroke, I would get familiar with the engine 1st, tuning your stock engine before you try bbk, order your carb and pipe, jet kit and accessories and 1st try and see what happens. Find out what parts work with what, and how the bike responds.
Rather you learn to get your tuning right before you melt a more expensive cylinder.
No offense to you or your abilities and experience, just trying to help you avoid the next post. 70cc Bbk won't run right, need help 😁

Sinful makes a great point One small change at a time and then run a few tanks of gas to see how you like it . If something doesnt fell right you can retrace your steps
You will appreciate your hard work that way . You will be intimately familiar with how the parts go together.

Reading Rolling Wrench's add on the exhaust made me wonder about them. Scooter Parts Co has that cylinder for $75 cheaper. Have fun with your build
