Progress! New master cylinder on, forks, shocks and pipe. I'm kind of crazy about this bike all over again, and it's not even done. Got so excited i ordered some Pirellis to complete the package and get ready for the track day, my vintage club is doing in May. whats your process for synching those carbs?

this cat here explains it well also. www.aircooled.net/gnrlsite/resource/articles/dualcarb.htm Solex, Kadron and Webber are commonly used on A/C VW motors which is where my roots are. I have owned many old A/C VWs, My first car was a 72 superbeetle (sunroof). My uncle was the original owner. He drove all over north america in it even got pulled in CO once the cop thought he might be Ted Bundy. No joke. Remember Ted drove a VW of the same year and it was used to ... For those too young to remember look up 'Ted Bundy' Sorry for going from carb syncing to one of Americas worst serial killers lol.

Thanks for that.
I can't take credit for most of that wrenching. My guy Brian does most of it with his dad Tim supervising and guiding our madness. I'm only GOOD at taking things apart and the occasional "heavy lifting". lol

I admire your humility getting stuff apart is at least half the battle

By all means, show us what you're working on. You're getting big time now, got your own build team!

My plan it to teach them how to use a polishing tool. Make my 30 year old motors shiny again. lol

Damn, now I need some helpers. I'd have all sorts of stuff polished if I didn't have to do the work myself. lol
