k so i got rid of that vento since nuthin could be done to it to make it faster. picked up a stock 2011 vip here in vegas pretty much all the vips come stock with a 47mm piston. everything else on this bike is completly stock. got it at 2700 km and im at 3500 alredy ive only had the scoot for 7 days. i dont get how this scooter is sooo fast and has no problems ever. the only problem was yesterday was real cold and it wouldnt start so check the plug and its even the bonestock plug in it still and it was broken put the ngk in there and starts right up. im just confused on why this scoot doesnt overheat and die like all my other ones the only diference is i have a stock airbox on this scoot and stock exhaust but it has no problem being riden at 50 mph up and down hills iwht my 220 pound self on it for literaly hours nonstop
yesterday i went thru two full tanks of gas and rode it for 4 hours straight always staying between 45-50 mph the onlt times i would stop it was like go in store for a drink and to stop and get gas other then that scoot never smokes or stalls or bogs out or nuthin this is my 7th or somthin scooter
and i know if i would of done this on any of my other scoots they woulda started smoking or broke down or somthing lol
not really a problem im just wondering if anyone hear knows why. cuz i hate how the stock airbox looks and i usually always put a open filter on the mopeds just for the extra loudness but i dont wanna do it if its gunna make my moped overheat

Sounds to me like maybe this one is properly in tune and the others might not have been. If they were jetted lean they would run hot. If you do add the air filter, make sure you spend time getting the jetting right.

Hi There, good too hear from other SinCity riders.
First thing, go on line and check us out "Nevada Scooter Brigade" you will find us at scooterrescue.me we ride all year long and we are the largest scooter club in Nevada. But always looking for more rider to join us.
The VIP Scooter are made by two differnent mfg. Jonway and Toa-Toa. I am on my 4th Jonway 49.7cc scooter. Been happy with 3 out of 4. Overheat has never been a problem, the longest I have riden is 240 miles in a single day.
These scooter need a lot of good maintenance to keep them running. ex. change oil every 500 miles or 700 km, spark replaced every 1500 miles or 2000 km, carb will need rebuild or replace between 4000 & 5000 miles. Keep an eye on the belt better to change to often and to break on the road.
Be careful on your speed. If you are going faster than 30 mph they are class as motercycles and require M class, Ins. and Reg. and if you catch an Metro Officer in a bad mood, they will write you up for all three.
But after all that, they are fun machines, check out one of my post and you will see what mods I have done to my VIP. Hope to see you at one of NSB meetups.
Happy Riding in SinCity

what is the proper amount of oil to put back in some people say bottom of dipstick some people say the whole bottom?

worry about the brand if you change it often enought no oil will break down can happen. Sorry about the double entry hit the wrong key.

I have 4 different GY6 and they all read different on the dip stick due to the angle of the engine. Finally here is what I do. Drain oil. Empty a quart of oil so that it has 750ml left. Put the oil in the scooter and mark where it shows on the dipstick.
