Hey everyone, 1 year ago I purchased a 2006 xmax 125, the bike had a heavy bog off the line up to 10mph then rockets off fine up to 70mph.. I first replaced the following:
Belt, rollers, slides New delta clutch+bell, yellow spring,3rd position. Fuel pump and regulator.
This was done 1 by 1 but None of this made a change ..
I then spent a while cleaning and lubing the whole transmission where needed, this helped but still a week later bogging and pushing of the line with my feet.. Then after some time i purchased the red springs for the delta clutch and this has fixed the issue when set to the 3rd hardest setting.
OEM clutch+bell (bogging) Clutch stall 3000rpm Clutch grab 2300rpm
Delta clutch+bell red (no bog) Clutch stall 7500rpm Clutch grab 5500rpm
I cannot understand why the OEM and aftermarket parts were giving me so many issues until heavily tuned, am I missing something, my clutch need deglazing but the bike now feels how it should, but with parts that arent recommended for road use.

I am not familiar with this engine but I wold be looking at the belt size, lots of vendors say it fits which it does but is it right, on a 50cc the best belt by far is the OE one. Geoff

When I changed the belt, the old one had the same product code as the new,, i did buy a genuine yamaha belt from the dealer.. thought of shimming the front pulley, the belt is about 5mm from the top of the rear pulley and the belt doesnt sit deep into the front 🤔
