Ive been eyeing a few scooters locally and I am drawn to the Eton Beamer/Matrix etc since they are from my understanding just a Minarelli horizontal 2T clone. I have already acquired quite the pile of extra parts from my 05 Bugeye that should work on the Eton as well. The years of Eton scooters Im looking at are between 2005 and 2010. Are there that many differences (if any at all) between the years or models like the Beamer III and the Matrix, etc? I cant seem to find any info on this.

Beamer has fat 10" tires,Matrix has 12 or 13" tires and rear disc brakes, all have the long case 'chinarelli' motors,10mm rod pin,13.55 to 1 trans ratios, funky DC CDI..Well built, the Yam cyl kit may fit,but not much else will..

Thanks for that 190mech, things are making a little more sense now. I didnt know how to word it when I was searching so EVERYTHING was coming up making it tuff to get any individual info. This is what Im currently looking at: -2010 Eton Beamer III OR -2007 Eton Beamer Matrix After your reply Im able to start narrowing down what Im looking at. Im seeing that there is an actual Eton "Matrix" model (No "Beamer"/larger wheels/rear disk) which Im not looking at right now, then there is a "Beamer" model (10" wheel/rear drum), then there is a "Beamer Matrix" (10" wheel/rear drum), then there are variations of each Beamer/Beamer Matrix I-III. Im still confused in the differences of these -if any at all??
