Wondering if you could get a 250cc cam with the extra cam lobes ?? Have no idea on who you would even try to find that.
Turbo Vtec sticker would have me dying from laughter 😃

But I'd have to figure out cam specs.

Its SOOOOO tempting... Not gonna lie. We'll see what happens when I get a bit more of this sorted out. I have to figure out how to keep the clutch together before I add yet MORE power.

Since its been snowing the last week or so and I can't do much in the way of tuning (And I'm finished rebuilding my RD350) I figured I'd tinker on a digital dashboard. I've got two touch capable LCD panels, a 2.8 inch and a 7 inch. I'm going to ATTEMPT to fit the 7 inch inside the round bezel on the Buddy. It'll overlap the edges but that shouldn't matter much as I can put gauges in the visible part of the display. This'll give me a LOT better gauges than just speed and boost that I have now.

Well, after setting it up I couldn't find any way to stuff the 7 inch display in there properly... But I had a 2.8 inch screen in my parts stash as well... It'll work. Its a bit smaller than I'd like, but its functional while I try and find a good round LCD to fit in there. Currently it displays speed, RPMs, AFR, boost psi, coolant temps, and intake air temps. Its also a touch screen and capable of running full tuning software to change anything on the fly!

Looking good, way more useful than the stock and looks like a good clean install 👍
If it can tune and you don't need the laptop with you constantly, huge bonus

Being able to tune and log from it are massive bonuses. No more trying to balance an expensive laptop on the floorboards to make changes

Well... Its been snowing for the last couple days so I can't do much tuning without the very real risk of killing myself So I've been working on cosmetic bits. The variator cover had some road rash from whatever happened to the donor bike it came outa so I sanded it down and painted it satin black. Because generic Piaggio grey is boring.

I'm pretty stoked with how that turned out. Wasn't 100% certain if black was the right choice. I think it was!

Looks good 👍 really clean looking bike,
such a different contrast to my rat bike, but I am over doing the really clean bike, now I just want the jacked up, how is that thing even running look 😀
But it does look really good and the black always matches, you could always go bling bling polish the case bolt heads 😉

Nobody seems to ever do anything fun with the Buddy's even though they're such a fantastic platform and good looking bike. I decided I owed it to the bike after leaving it as a pile of parts in the back yard for 10 years to make it a really clean build especially since I went turbo and it seems like nobody EVER finishes a turbo to the point it really functions correctly I've totally done the rat bike thing too... Those can be a ton of fun as well

Found myself a good deal on a Malossi Delta clutch new in box, good thing too. I'm pretty sure I blew clutch #3 a few days ago. Its not letting go properly right now, which is making it sorta hard to ride. Hopefully this one holds up a bit better than the stock one... I can't really afford to replace my clutch fortnightly!

The polished bell will help out alot. Give you alot more visual information. If it has huge blue heat marks along the sides and covered in clutch dust then you know something at least 😏
