My petcock is stuck. Reason my bike wouldn't get gas.
I want to replace with a manual shut off one.
What do I need to measure on the nut to make sure I get it right.
The inside diameter of the nut (threads).is 22mm
Anything else?

From the research I have done, I think my particular scotter has fine threads, so I think I will need a 22x1 petcock. I see these on ebay and amazon. I will attach a picture of it on the scooter. I have it off now. Its a 2008 Vento Triton gt5. I could also buy an adapter that goes from 22mm to 3/8"npt and try to just craft something up as well. Id like to just have a petcock that I can turn off manually right there under the tank. With this bike all put together, its an easy access. Im guessing this one should work? www.amazon.com/Petcock-Fuel-Valve-Spigot-Davidson/dp/B07Y5Q4J18

With a nut with an inside diameter of 22mm it is likely you need a 24 or 25mm thread. Threads are measured on the OD of the thread. Try measuring the outside diameter of the fuel tank connection. Anything for Harley Davidson is way over priced.

I just checked. I was measuring on outside. It's 22mm. I thought I'd seen them but when I searched again, that's the only one I found.
It's 22mm diameter threads...and I am pretty sure it's 22x1 not 22x1.5

The $9 option looks good to me listed for a scooter as well, your local hardware/ lawn mower repair might stock them.

I don't know for sure it's m22x1 which is fine. I will check. While searching m22x1.5 is much more common. The $9 option looks good to me listed for a scooter as well, your local hardware/ lawn mower repair might stock them. Geoff
