Is it smart to get longer primary/secondary gearing.
Mk2 Racing r1200 Mvt millenium 24pwk Vforce3 reeds
There are so many options so which one i choose? Also what is the difference between primary and secondary gearing?

If you want more top end and to be able cruise at lower rpms . Swapping in gears that get you somewhere in between 10 to 1 and 11 to one final ratio would add between 5 to 10 mph top speed. With that range of ratios you still can get snappy take off by resetting the transmission with lighter weights to get the same shift points .
I prefer the straight cut gears they transfer power better . Added Bonus they sound like a turbo spinning up .
