Have been using Boyesen 6107 power reeds on an Adly motor with a malossi 70cc cylinder and Yasuni Z pipe. Regularly turns between 8 and 10k at 40-50mph on daily drive for the last year. Recently I pulled top end to do ring change and while at it thought I'd check reeds.
I am completely shocked. These reeds look just as good as day I installed over a year ago. There was a thin line at top of read near the screws where I though might be cracking a little. Nope. It was just some residue. Not even a damn scratch on these things and they are still good an stiff. Very happy. Flipped the reeds on reinstall for good measure and slapped her back together. Runs like a friggin champ.
Have decided to switch to these on all my other bikes. Am a big fan.

I used to use them all the time on my motocross bikes. They really were a class above others at the time. That was more than a few years ago now though. 😉

aeroxbud Yeah I'm more than impressed. Those 6107s are 2 stage reeds for minarelli style engines and they are absolute bangers. I was skeptical at first but the 2 stage really does make a difference at take off and on the low end.
