If you bought a 2022 scooter and it only had 250 miles on it, and it had these issues/attributes...
- starts easy and idles good - when it's warm outside it runs decent and will climb up to top speed slow in my opinion but will do it. - when it's cold outside or I don't let it warm up ever, anything past 1/4 or so throttle it boggs out. Dies sometimes and if it does keep running rpm will sit in one place and very slowly climb. - cold days it surges in and out trying to reach top speed.
What would you suspect?
Valve adjustment? Air restriction? Lean running?
Carb air fuel adjust screw is plugged and needle is non adjustable.

Good- when it's warm outside it runs decent and will climb up to top speed slow in my opinion but will do it. Study how to do a proper plug chop (google it) and how to read the plug. Take it out for a spin when its warm outside, do a plug chop and read the plug.- when it's cold outside or I don't let it warm up ever, anything past 1/4 or so throttle it boggs out. Dies sometimes and if it does keep running rpm will sit in one place and very slowly climb. This is normal for the first minute or so, after that it should run like normal.- cold days it surges in and out trying to reach top speed. See tip #2, plug chops. What would you suspect? Probably the carb has a middle of the road tune which doesn't work with the area you live in (very hot or very cold). Carb probably needs to be tuned. This accounts for European or Japanese brands, I have no knowledge about chinese and knock-off brands.Valve adjustment? Air restriction? Lean running? Carb air fuel adjust screw is plugged and needle is non adjustable. If the plug chop comes out negative, consider swapping in a carburetor that has more tuning capabilities.

Hey bud I super appreciate you responding. Had some time with it today. Adjusted valves to spec. .004 on both. Inspected plug but didn't chop and it was white so it has been running lean. I do have another carb coming. That has adjustable needle and air/fuel screw. I also shimmed my needle...it was also not adjustable. Shimmed it with 4 washers (3mm). So with valve adjustment and needle shim it was much better today. It is a bit warmer but it didn't bogg down any. I think the carb I'm getting and I also have pilot and main jet kits coming..I will be able to tune it well. Also may bump up to 72cc.
