2022 Roguestar 50 made from scootstar.
Pulled everything off down to the head and when sliding the head off, it runs into the metal frame under the seat...so I can't slide the head all the way off to get to the cylinder.
I'm guessing my options are pull the bolts out.
If so how do you get the anchors out? The long ones that hold on the cylinder and head?
Or...
Pull the whole motor off...which I was really wanting to avoid.
This scooters seat bolts are behind the dang plastic body...not in the bucket.
It's been a pain working on it...debating putting it back together and just selling to buy a more user friendly bike for upgrades.
Anyways, would y'all pull the motor off that end of pull thr anchors out?

you have the same oddball as mine. you either lift the rear like crazy ( lift the frame not the engine/wheel ) so the head point upward and clear the bar, or way better, you remove the engine from there.
maybe you could try removing the engine mount bolt and pull the engine backward a bit so you clear that damn bar. you usually have enought wire to do that but watch that carefully.
personally i pull out the engine. even tho its a bigger job its way easier to work on. i have to remove my caliper because i have rear disc brake and the brake line isnt long enought to just move the engine a bit. ITS WORTH REMOVING THE ENGINE !
