Just bought two Peugeot's (LC & AC) in garbage state. They have that immobiliser system, that needs to be taken care off.
These scoots are in terrible stage. Bad plastics, bad everything. Maybe I can save one with low budget?

Bypass kits are available for the speedfight. It's a common problem.

These engines have AC stator. I wired up GY6 50 4t CDI in the LC engine and got it started. It's running at least.
Also LC engine is now AC engine. Waterpump and cooler were badly damaged.

Tuning carburetor (Unknown PZ19 oval) and having trouble with idle and 1/4th of a throttle. No matter what main jet or needle position (has to be in the middle or richer) or even slightly bigger PJ, there is a major problem in idle and 1/4th of a throttle. I think it's rich. Air screw is in normal position, but idle screw at maximum and it just gives the low idle.
When I open throttle a little bit, I can get better idle.
What I'm thinking is if I can modify slide a bit to give it a better idle and maybe 1/4th of a throttle?

Idle and up to quarter throttle it's mainly controlled by the pilot jet. Or pilot jet circuit. When you open the throttle it's moving the fuel through the needle.

Yes. But can I modify slide to make it leaner and how?

Much easier just to clean the carb.

I have Malossi red clutch springs. Could those help to a 1/4th of a throttle problem?

They could possibly in pulling away from a stop. But that's the only time the clutch isn't fully engaged.
