So I bought a nice low mileage scooter. A kymco compagno 100i (fuel injected). Only has like 250 miles on it. But it must have sat a while because its been worked on...I can tell.
Somewhere on the fuel pump its leaking. Cinching down the screws holding it, didnt help.
Anyways, the whole part is $299 that comes with everything...you cant just buy the gasket.
My question is, whats a good gasket material for parts that will be in contact with gasoline?
Or should I just bite the bullet and get a new one?
Thanks

You can just buy sheets of gasket material in different thickness from auto parts places. Or Amazon and eBay. I have used them before when gaskets aren't available. Use the old gasket as a template when cutting the new one out.
