I think in time with scooters really getting big. We'll see someone start to publish a mag like they do across three pond. Good find though.

Sadly, Scoot! Magazine went completely online. No more paper mag. I would like to at least be able to download it to look at on my Nook. Anyway, they give you a lot of cool swag with the online subscription/membership. I havn't renewed yet, but for $25 you get a T shirt, button, patch, zipper pull, and a sticker. $10 gets you a button, patch, and online subscription.

I always prefer the pulp version. Sort of like coloring an old movie or taking a great old analog record and remastering it digitally. Something is just missing. :dunno:

Check out the sample issue. You might find it worth the $10 subscription price. The scooter reviews were always a good feature, usualy one interview of a collector/restorer, a couple custom designs that were always cool to check out. A lot of event/rally articles, but rarely photo's of the fun stuff they wrote about them, lacking in tech information, and pretty much forget Chinese scooters in there. I subsribed off and on to the the paper mag, which was printed on some nice quality paper too. It was winter reading, but not anything in there I could use as far as working on my scooter. I chose my jacket because it was in a review in that magazine, and found it was a 2 year old design on clearance for $49 dollars, so I was no longer real impressed with that section written by the now editor) the price was nice, but a review of accesories should be current. But, as mentioned, only US scooter magazine out there

My last print single issue bought was #60. It is still the New issue listed. They seem to be still trying to get the membership packages together since the change over in April, 2011, and have still not gotten a digital issue out? And shipped the membership packages in November. They are working on a new web page...no real information unless you hunt for it, which doesn't make them look good.

I wish I could get my $25 back, seems like they pocketed the money and ran.
