Most on the back have greens going to all lights as ground.
Then different colors going to lights depending on what it is.
Then there is typically three wires screwed to posts on the back of cluster
Black Blue and white Yellow and white
What are those screwed to posts?

Find and download a wiring diagram for your scoot or one near it. Remember wire colors are not always indicative of function.

ok updated information and pictures. If someone could help me, I would greatly appreciate it. If you look at the back of the new speedo, I know this... The cluster of green wires need to go to ground, or battery negative. They are the ground side of all the lights. All of the brown wires need to get power when lights are turned on, thats what lights up the gauge. I wouldnt even mind if they were turned on with ignition. The orange, light blue, and dark blue are turn signal indicators and brights indicator. I can find these on the original wiring also. The last three wires screwed to the back are the ones puzzling. There is a solid black, blue with white stripe, and yellow with white stripe. Somehow these are used to wire up the fuel gauge (sender)...any idea how? All wires used you think? Does the gauge need power also? If so, is one for power and the other used for continuity? I feel confident finding what my existing wires do in the scooter now, its just how to get the gauge to work...especially the fuel gauge. Any and all help is super appreciated. Thanks
