RollingBender has the chopper going, so can't do that π So we going tractor π Still have alot of work to do, especially thin gauge metal work to get the classic tractor look in the front. Today I got the seat mounted and the all important starck partially mounted π Thoughts and opinions are welcome and appreciated π

Oh yea!!!
I have ideas for dozens of βthemedβ scooters and a tractor is one of them.
Find an old John Deere rider and slap the hood from it on your scoot. Cut a hole for the steering stem to stick through and the rest of the hood occupies the space between the seat and the steering (tons of space for helmet, tools, spare parts, etcβ¦). You will even inherit a cool set of headlights.

Looking for the front half of a tractor and they are kinda pricey for what I would do.
Thinking since I have a whole filing cabinet with enough metal to make the front box. Don't have a break but 2x4 and a hammer I can make a decent box, stem height to floor, only thing I have to figure out is where do my feet go, probably have to have pegs mounted as far forward as possible. Can build a simple inner support to hold the shell and have room to put stuff.
I think the eye lid and lights and a grill of some kind are what is going to really sell the design. Think that is going to be the most thought consuming. Have to get it far enough forward but still able to turn the front end and high enough to the same height as the inner box. The rake of the wheel and the amount of neck I can use will dictate my front lights. Square light box then curve in along the frame will really sell it as tractor ish

Convert it to a trike. Then swap the front end of a Piaggio MP3 on there. Make it look like an old school pedal tractor.

An open megaphone is the Loudest type of motorcycle exhaust I have ever heard. Can't wait to hear yours! You really should wear ear plugs.

You really need to replace those theme inappropriate handlebars with a proper steering wheel. Whoever heard of a tractor with handlebars?

Got progress done this weekend, will have to post pics, got some more work to do and I absolutely hate sheet metal. Takes for ever to weld a solid piece, tack here, tack there, tack and tack and tack π
It may not look very tractor like right now but it will be something lol π
