Hi All I have a 2008 Peace Sports 50 scooter that I bought last fall. I got it running good and wish this darn snow would go so I can ride but oh well. I would like to put a luggage rack on the back and possibly a small trunk. I am not sure what would fit, or where to buy it from. Thanks for any and all help. JohnB

These or similar are stock on many scoots like yours : amzn.to/42pQURsThen you should be able to adapt a top case/trunk that you find. Lots of options out there. Just beware; the cheap Chinese ones are quite flimsy. They work OK, but they can be pretty easily busted open so they are of essentially no use for keeping anything secure or carrying too much.

Well, I got the rack in and tried to mount it. The tubes where the bolts run through must have been a little off cause the only way, I could get all the bolts to start was to install the forward 2 bolts and tighten down then the bottom (rear) bolt would start. They also sent the wrong style bolt with, so I had to use my stock bolts. Once on I tried to install the flat base for my luggage trunk only to find out that the rear tube was too high and caused the plate to rock. So, I had to grind off a large chunk. Remove and paint. So, it will work but not without a little tweaking. But is done and now if it will just STOP SNOWING and let spring show it's sweet smile all will be fine. JohnB

Great Idea, never thought of that. 50 years ago might have given that a try, but now days a can of soup and a loaf of bread is about all I lift. JohnB

This was originally mounted on a bicycle. Cost $10. I welded it onto the seat frame.

There ya go. I love the saddlebag approach. Easy on and off, has decent carry capability and relatively cheap
