Hi, I have a 2012 piaggio typhoon with a Malossi 70cc kit installed, and recently it lost compression while riding and upon tearing it down, it had scratches and gouges in the cylinder and piston, as well as weird dents in the cylinder head, which is the exact same as what happened with the previous one freeimage.host/i/Hhc0czBfreeimage.host/i/Hhc0YbVfreeimage.host/i/Hhc07OQ

Didn't you change anything after finding this last time?

Did you tune it after the cylinder swap?

It looks like something is bouncing around inside the cylinder. Did you make sure there wasn't any chunks of metal inside the case when you swapped cylinder? Also looks like you soft seized it. Do you have a temp gauge?

Update: It turned out to be the oil pump, as it was pumping at a very slow rate and seized closed frequently. I got a stage 6 sport pro cylinder kit, and completely removed all oil injection systems and tanks, just using premix now. No issues

Probably wise. I have seen so many Piaggio engines seized when the pump belt snaps. People just don't bother to change them.
