I live in Las Vegas and have 'modified' 49cc Chinese scooter. I bought in June '22 used from a local shop. it's been having trouble starting and will only start if the air filter is sprayed with starting fluid. I'd like to learn more about maintenance and repair and I am willing to pay $ or beer.  Seriously tho, i'm a very handy guy, but this thing has me puzzled. thanks |

Welcome to the forum,if you have the tools and basic skills a little self help is required,browse the technical section of forum using the directory in particular the no start section,some basic maintainance might just fix the scoot,I would start with a new plug,carb clean and air filter.keep asking till your sorted.

Geoff Thanks geoffh. I've been searching the forum quite a bit with little success. I see scooters everywhere here in Vegas, but can't find anyone to give a little hlpe or guidance. I'll look again in the 'no start' section. My scooter has become more trouble than it's worth unfortunately. I bought it for fun, now it's not so fun. I think I got a lemon. |
