Got board earlier and was just checking my 2 scooters out to see how many of each make there were still licensed to be on the road legally in the UK
There are
11 Aprilia Habana 125's and 11 Honda Bali Sj 100's
Quite a surprise really.

Used to see loads of the Aprilia habana at scooter rallies. I guess it's a bit like the Gilera runners, old and good ones are collectable now.a
When ever you look at the sports mopeds, aerox/speedy/SR Aprilia. The rate of attrition is scary. Young kids love to throw them down the road.

It makes you wonder aeroxbud as there are quite a few on SORN if some are waiting for them to go up in value for future classics just like the old British bikes year's ago you couldn't give away and CZ and MZ. I been hunting for the Bali a second hand cylinder, rod and piston for a spare being 2 stroke, plenty for the 50cc but none for the 100cc. |

It's probably like the Aerox and speedfight 100cc. A bit of a funny size engine, so didn't sell many.

I think I've seen only 1 aerox 100 in my entire life and it wasnt even in Holland. Never seen a speedfight 100. There loads of runner 125/180cc's here but non of the other big size versions of 50cc scoots. Or are the 50cc scoots small size versions of the bigger ones?

Think last time I went there it was a 20mph limit. |

How many left?? My Yamaha CG50 has another 4 or5 brothers stashed somewhere in shed land,but I have seen another 4 come up for sale on e bay so there could be more yet to see daylight.

I think its wild you guys can look up registration numbers like that... I don't think we have anyway of doing that here in the US.
