That’s a great find. Love the orange. I’d be keeping that scoot a while as well.

Interesting... torque driver still has full travel. White does seem maybe a little softer than original. Will report back.

Well for what it's worth, the white spring works fine despite the significant difference in height and number of coils. I am back at the provided malossi 9g rollers. Maybe a couple hundred rpm over the 9g/10g combo with stock contra spring. Who woulda thought, the provided spring and weights work great for an otherwise stock bike. lol

Malossi does sell some stuff marketed for this bike that doesn't exactly work right out of the box. Their rear pulley doesn't work without modification. Glad the TWH dio zx pulley works so well.

i have a tecnigas q-tre for super9 LC hanging in the garage if you didnt get a good pipe yet and wanted to try something cheap. i think i put 500 miles on the pipe before i put mine back to stock and sold it. same color, but mine had damage and chunks missing off it.

I haven't pulled the trigger yet, but I've got my heart set on trying a Yasuni R (for piaggio) on this bike. I have found one lone poster on scooter-system.fr that claims it bolts right up with only some modification needed for the mounting bracket. The exhaust flange seems correct. Hoping this 10+ year old post on a french website is reliable. haha

In the end it'd only cost you a couple bucks, some of your time and you can educate the Kymco folk this hack doesn't work.

What's more likely is that I'd just hold onto the pipe until I come across a piaggio bike I haven't go the Piaggio Yasuni R. But I have the for Piaggio Yasuni Z if you want some dimensions on the flange. I think my biggest concerns are if the flange angle from the cylinder is close enough so that the pipe routes under without any obstruction. i have an aprilia SR50 LC piaggio engine in my garage. i could put my qtre for super9lc on it and see how close it is This would be incredibly helpful information!!

the kymco tecnigas Q-tre i have could fit up into it but there's about 5 inches of gap for the mounting brackets. From looking at the stock sr50 exhaust, i dont think it would have a chance at mounting in any reasonable way to the kymco. I think the distance from exhaust flange to mounting bracket is maybe an inch on the aprilia but it's around five inches different on the kymco. like they say, anything is possible, but i'm guessing you'd have to be quite good at bending pipe, etc. I could get you a different photo or measurement or whatever if you wanted. the engine mount is in the way on the sr50 so the exhaust is tighter/tricker to get on than what the super9 is.

It's a different sort of flange that mounts the Piaggio pipe to the engine as well. The Piaggio pipe is made to not use a gasket. I think you would need to fabricate a different mount for it too.
